The NFL’s Worst Team Considering To Pay This Amount To Push For More Gun Control

Improving their game should be the San Francisco 49ers’ focus of attention rather than focusing on becoming the NFL’s designated social warrior team.

On Thursday, the San Francisco 49ers announced that is considering making a $500, 000-donation in order to push for more gun control and a ban on bump stocks.

As ESPN writer Nick Wagoner reports, the team will become a partner with local and national law enforcement to ban silencers and armor piercing rounds and thus to create a “safer America“.

Part of the donation will be also intended for funding public service announcements geared towards police brutality and violence.

In an interview with reporters, team owner Jed York expressed his political stances saying he was being painted as left-wing for pushing “commonsense“issues.

“I’m not the most left-wing person in the world. I realize people are trying to sort of paint me as that. That’s not my background politically and how I grew up,” he said. “A lot of these are commonsense issues. When you actually sit down and talk to people and know where they’re coming from, it’s hard not to be sympathetic and empathetic.”
